Award-winning American-French restaurant relocates to Town Square in September
Planned Community Developers, Ltd. (PCD) welcomes Aura Brasserie Moderne to Sugar Land Town Square this fall. Chef Frédéric Perrier will use French techniques and serve an extensive menu featuring American-French cuisine. Fort Bend residents, husband and wife team Frédéric and Michelle Perrier have produced high-quality food with top-notch customer service at their Missouri City restaurant for five years.
Chef Perrier, a native of France, has over 35 years of culinary experience – from international apprenticeships and executive chef positions in Manhattan and Houston, to guest chef visits to the James Beard House, where he was named a “Rising Star in American Cuisine.” His food has earned Aura a spot among Houston’s Top Ten New Restaurants (Houston Chronicle) and has a Zagat Guide Rating of 29/30 for food and service.
“We’ve really enjoyed creating dishes not only for those who appreciate a great steak or fish, but also for those willing to think outside of the box. With our casually elegant atmosphere, superior service, and menu variety, we believe Aura will appeal to Sugar Land Town Square diners,” said Chef Perrier. “So many of our current customers have expressed their wishes for a Sugar Land location, and we are very excited to bring them one.”
Aura will relocate to 15997 City Walk, and will occupy 2,045 square feet of retail space. The restaurant’s interior will have a brasserie feel with an added modern chicness. The design features a semi-open kitchen and will include a patio space for outdoor dining.
Alan Chodrow, of Chodrow Realty, represented Aura in the transaction; Charles Adams, vice president of retail for PCD, represented PCD.
