Girl Scout Silver Award Blood Drive
Saturday, February 8 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Event Navigation

Making a blood donation is one of the most intimate and priceless gifts one can give, plus it’s a rewarding way to benefit your community. Naina Merchant, a Girl Scout Cadette of Troop 883, has partnered up with MD Anderson by organizing a blood drive for the community so she can earn her coveted Girl Scout Silver Award. Please join her in her efforts and share in the wonder of transforming the lives of others.
MD Anderson cancer patients require approximately 200 units of red blood cells and 600 units of platelets every day, which is why donors are the most important part of the process! Giving blood provides hope for cancer patients who depend on the support of their family and friends and on the generosity of donors just like you. Be a hero – Donate blood to the blood bank and save lives! SIGN UP HERE.
